Incredible Italy!!(cooking classes) Taste

Finally! I've arrived in Italy! My plane ride was horrible, I sat next to this guy who kept snoring his brains out throughout the whole trip. But, on a brighter note, I made it to Italy. Today was my cooking class day. Yay! I arrived in Florence just in time for my classes to begin. Not a single person in that class spoke English. It was especially frustrating, because they kept talking to me as if I understood what they said. I did manage to find out what we were making, though. The appetizer was Calamari, my favorite!!! The first course was Seafood Spaghetti with a side of fresh ciabatta bread, second (as if anyone could even get to the second!) was Margarita Pizza, also yummy, and the dessert was Tiramisu, my other favorite! After the food was prepared, which took FOREVER we got to eat it. As I had originally expected, the food was delicious. But I didn't get to much pizza, because I felt like I had just gained a few hundred pounds from the Spaghetti alone, so I took it and the Tiramisu, which by the way was the best dessert I had ever tasted, back to my hotel as a midnight snack. Ya, it turns out it wasn't a midnight snack at all, it was a "cab ride back to my hotel" snack. So, after gaining around 500 pounds, I crashed on my bed, almost breaking it, and fell asleep.

madagascar Vacation!!! sound

Today, I threw on my bathing suit, and headed off to the beach for the whole day. It was just me, my towel, my sufboard, and the beautiful beaches. I surfed for a while, but I wasn't very good at it so I fell off my surfboard a bunch of times, but it was still fun. Then I boogie-boarded until my arms got real tired and my eyes were stinging from the saltwater. I plopped down on my big, warm towel and fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the sand.

. Today, like the day I visited Ampefy, was extremely hot. I tried swimming, cold showers, putting ice on my forehead, but nothing truly cooled me off. I decided to go biking in town in search of something cold. I rode right by a native man serving ice cream! I raced back and bought some of the ice cream, and it was heaven. The man had used fresh vanilla from his farm, so that was probably why it was so good. It really made my day.

I think today was my favorite day of my vacation in Madagascar. I woke up very early in the morning, around 5:30, sluggishly dressed, and drove to the coast where I was about to go snorkeling. After I was in my wetsuit, and my guide had given me the spiel on safety, we jumped in the beautiful, crystal clear water.

I saw all kinds of coral, crayfish, and crusteacans. After I took lots of pictures with my fancy waterproof camera, it was the end of my snorkeling adventure. After taking a really cold shower, I got really tired, and blissfully slept for 13 hours.
