Ok, let me get this straight: I LOVE COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!! So I was up at 6:30a.m. waiting until it was time to drive to the coffee plantation. I finally broke down and drove to the plantation at 7:35 a.m. I arrived, and of course nobody except the workers and the tour guide were there.

The tour guide was happy to see me here so early. She was happy that someone out there liked coffee as much as she did, so, she gave me a private tour of the coffee plantation before everybody else showed up(oh, by the way, the tour wasn't supposed to start until 9:00). The traditional method(being used by the coffee plantation I was at) of planting coffee is to put 20 seeds in each hole at the beginning of the rainy season(about half of the seeds will die because of harsh weather). A more effective and easier method of growing coffee, used in Brazil, is to raise seedlings in nurseries and then plant them outside when they are six to twelve months old. The lady first showed me the coffee trees. The whole plantation smelled REALLY GOOD(hey, you know how you always say smells should be able to come out of your computer, well this is the reason why). Anyway, my private-special-VIP tour had to end there becuase the other people started to arrive. The tour was like I had expected, she showed us the coffee, how it was made, it being made, and then the final product. She gave each person a bag of their beans and a coffee sample. The sample was amazing, rich, creamy, it felt like heaven. Which could only explain my later hyperness...
There was a flock of Scarlet Macaws in a tree, which I managed to get a couple of pictures of (they weren't exactly fans of the paparazzi). I then was faced with a bridge. A small, thin, bridge. A VERY, small, thin bridge.As you might guess, I wasn't very thrilled to walk across it. I took a step onto it and it creaked and swayed as if its boards were about to crack and fall.
You've probably seen a bunch of those movies where they have people walk across these outrageous bridges and fall off. It felt exactly like that. I tried to put all those thoughts behind me, and just walk across the bridge, but every three seconds I was faced with a thought like " What if one of the ropes breaks and I am left hanging on to the other rope until I become so tired that I let go and fall to the ground to have lions, jaguars and vultures pick my remains apart." It took me forever to get across that bridge. I imagine it probably only took five minutes in real life. It was really fun. Once I got across the bridge it was time for zip lining. I was the first person to go(everyone else was chicken:) I got all strapped up, and got hooked to the line, then I flew. I zipped(hence the name zip line) through the trees and flew over the forest. I was sad when it was over, but my feet were tired, so I decided to call it a day, and head home.
potato type soup dish, and since it was the least expensive item on the menu, it was also my dinner. I paid the man, thanked him, and sat down on the sidewalk to enjoy my meal. I gotta say, that was some pretty darn good stuff! It had a savory, and spicy flavor that I just couldn't get enough of. I was sad when I licked the last drop out of the paper bowl, but it was getting dark anyway. I went back to the airport in hopes of finding a flight back to america, or at least a place where people speak english. Luckily, I learned that the smoke had cleared a bit and it was safe to fly. I booked a flight, and got on my plane and fell asleep before we even took off.
(of course) and I picked the rice candy with the edible wrappers, and the candy that looked like sushi(but don't worry, it wasn't sushi)

The pools were incredibly relaxing. I just floated on my back in the water till I bumped into a rock. At one point I found this neat little cave where I could hide and spy on people in. I hid in there for a bit, then decided that it was about time to leave, because my hands were turning into prunes. I left feeling refreshed,pruney, and like a toddler.
The waiter brought me a cup of coffee and walked away. It was really cool looking, and had a different texture than normal coffee. How they make it is they boil finely powdered roasted coffee beans, maybe with sugar, and serve it in a cup. Its a pretty common method of coffee making in the Middle East and Northern Africa. I sipped my coffee, and it was amazing.

, which I was pretty proud of, and made a snow fort so I could throw snowballs at innocent bystanders. I geuss the torturous trip up the mountain WAS w0rth it.
was long, and sleepless. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get to sleep(despite my early awakening). I arrived in Turkey in the night, and went to sleep in my hotel. I awoke next morning, glad I didn't have anymore flights, and started walking to Itsanbul's Grand Bazaar. Itsanbul's Grand Bazaar is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. It probably wasn't a great idea to walk to the bazaar, because by the time I got there, my feet were already tired. I walked around, and just looked at all the goods. The market itself was beautiful, and they had everything you could ever think of. I decided to get a gorgeous coin pouch from an old lady running a small stand in the corner of the market. It was beautifully woven and had sequins and gems lining it. I thanked the lady in Turkish, which by the way she thought was pretty amusing, and exited the bazaar with the coins in my pouch jingling in my hand.
